Treat all members of the school community with respect at all times remembering to be polite, thoughtful and considerate. Arrive at school and class on time with the books and equipment required. Always follow instructions from teachers, especially those which concern safety. Always do their best to complete their own work in class or for homework. Always allow others to get on with their work without interference. Always talk quietly when allowed to and be silent when asked to be. Always put up their hand to ask for help or to answer a question. Always stay in their seat unless the teacher has given permission to move. Move around the room and corridors sensibly, and always walking. Always respect the environment, their own and other people's property.
Pen, pencils, ruler, eraser, set squares, compasses, protractor, coloured pencils, folders. Dictionary e.g. The Little Oxford Dictionary. For Home Economics, Art and Design students need an apron or overall. For Drama students need a separate pair of trousers or jeans and a sweatshirt or T-shirt. The Governors do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property of pupils. Parents should make sure that all property can be identified. Students should not bring large sums of cash or expensive wrist watches etc to school. The wearing of jewellery and make-up is not permitted. Students may wear a wrist watch, stud earrings if necessary. A simple crucifix and chain is allowed. No facial peircing is accepted. Haircuts should be no less than a number 3.
