Science department staff list

Although we are one big faculty with 15 members of staff, we tend to divide ourselves into our specialist teams (Biology,Chemistry or Physics).

We are all capable of teaching the three areas of science up to GCSE but generally prefer our specialisms for the higher sets who tend to ask the harder questions, as well as requiring the most detail on any particular topic!!

At AS and A2 level we always stick with our own subjects as shown below.

The technicians are an invaluable part of the team helping us in the delivery of the lesson by sorting out, setting up,cleaning up and then putting away the numerous practical lessons we deliver (at any one time there could be 10 different practicals involving up to 150 sets of equipment which could involve over 1000 individual pieces - and we could do this 5 time a day!!) The technicians also help us in numerous other ways that could not (and should not) be covered in any job description but for which we are all very grateful.
