Project on Importance of Leisure for Yong People This year covers National curriculum levels 1-4 in all 4 language skills; listening reading, writing and speaking. There are regular module tests in all 4 skills.
Pupils will have the opportunity to engage in pairwork activities, class surveys, oral presentations, written presentations, letter writing, IT activities as well as basic language activities such as grammar exercises, and vocabulary learning. They will be encouraged to start to read in French and should lay the groundwork for independent reading through access to Language Magazines and reading MODULE 5 CHEZ MOI

Pupils work at levels 2-5 in all four skills and are regularly assessed both in formal assessments and coursework tasks MODULE 1
This is an introductory unit to consolidate work on the past tense and allow access to level 5 and above.
Pupils will be expected to produce several pieces of assessed writing and speaking describing past holidays and weekend activities.
They will thoroughly learn the grammar of the past tense.

Level 5 oral and written accounts of holidays, past weekends, visits The rest of the course follows that of the Key Stage 4 Groups (see below)but has they now have longer in Key Stage 4 there are opportunities to study other Francophone countries, and aspects of the History of France.
Most of the work in this year is aimed at level 5. However pupils have the opportunity to work to level 6 and beyond, with regular assessments in all four skills. This involves 4 modules of work with end of year examinations in Listening, Reading and Speaking. Written work is assessed through coursework, including one piece written under test conditions.
